Upside Management was founded by ex Sony Director of Sales, Denise Beighton and Head of Marketing, Simon Jones in 2002. Upside was set up on request from ITV, looking to engage reliable management to manage females from the popular TV programme ‘Popstars: The Rivals’. Upside shortly began their management journey, signing the band Clea, resulting in licensing and releasing their music in 22 territories worldwide. Following, Upside signed and developed platinum selling artist Karen Harding, who has 400 millions streams across her catalogue. Upside are using a similar template with their other artists; to build their numbers, catalogue and profile.

With a combination of over 15 million streams on Spotify and over 300 thousand monthly Spotify listeners, singer and topliner Danny Dearden is fast establishing himself as one to watch in the dance world; with support from some of the world’s biggest producers and DJs, including Martin Garrix, Martin Solveig and Diplo. Danny provided the topline and vocal for the first single in the Stanton Warrors album ‘Rise’ which debuted at number one in the Official Independent Charts. Danny’s second track with Michael Calfan titled ‘Could be You’ has almost 9 million streams and received radio spins on BBC R1, as well as landing a 2-minute sync on ITV’s popular series Love Island. Since, Danny has continued to work with an array of producers, such as Erlandsson on his track ‘Different Kind of Love’ reaching over 1.5 million Spotify streams and more recently, Danny has worked with legendary producers Dario G., Going Deeper, Aexcit, David Hopperman, Mark Villa, Ethan James and Ben Rainey. 2021 is set to be an exciting year of growth for Danny, with multiple major releases lined up!

House duo Paul Webb and Alex Ross are the hot arising Future Kings. Taking a unique approach to melodic, bass led house music, 2020 saw Future Kings have a huge year in music. Collaborating with fellow Upside artist Karen Harding on the track ‘Rely’ receiving enormous support across all the major stations, passing over 7 million streams, and remixes for artists including Todd Terry, Dario G and Kelli-Leigh. The duo are not holding back this year, kicking off 2021 with a massive new single released on Spinnin Records ‘Laser Beams’ collaborating with German techno legend MOGUAI and the wonderful US vocalist MOYA. Shortly followed by a huge dance track ‘Something New’ with vocals by MOYA; playlisted on both Kiss Dance and Capital Dance!
House duo Gold 88 consists of members Danny Morelli and Max Auton. The duo are monthly residents on house station ‘Electric Radio UK’ and have had multiple appearances on Italy’s Radio 105 In DaKlubb and Kiss Fresh. Their debut single ‘Hold Me Tight’ was featured on ITV’s Love Island, shortly leading to the signing to Sony Music’s B1 Recordings and Ministry of Sound, where they released ‘DiscoTek’ and ‘Keep You Closer’ on the label in 2020. Both tracks were hugely supported and received spins from Pete Tony, Gorgon City, Claptone, Tiesto, Diplo, Skrillex, David Guetta and many other well respected artists! The creative duo have since released the bouncy tech house track ‘Push It’ seen listed on numerous Spotify playlists and spent 3 weeks on rotation on the MTV Club Chart. As well as recently remixing Karen Harding, Future Kings and L’Tric’s track titled ‘Rely’. The duo have a big year ahead for releases, with future remixes including Julian Perretta, Junior J, Tobtok and DJ Tez.
International broadway singer and actress Moya Angela, aka MOYA is an incredibly talented vocalist who will be heard on a range of huge house and dance music tracks. MOYA was seen as Effie White in DreamGirls on the West End and Broadway, winning for Lead Actress in a Musical for the role, as well as a 2010 NAACP Theatre Award Winner for Lead Actress. In 2016, MOYA was a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent, with videos bringing in millions of views. Recent collaborations include ‘Laser Beams’ on Spinnin Records, ‘Something New’ on Perfect Havoc and ‘Leave It’ on Perfect Havoc. MOYA’s collaboration with Maxinne for the This is Toolroom compilation ‘In The Groove’ received multiple spins by Danny Howard and Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, as well as her collaboration with Future Kings ‘Something New’ receiving huge DJ support from David Guetta and Benny Benassi among others.
