To highlight the importance of Mental Health Awareness Week we’d like to share a handful of supportive resources with you by Help Musicians, we’d like to share a handful of useful resources with you by Help Musicians!

Dedicated to your mental health, ‘Music Minds Matter’ is Help Musicians’ support line and service for the whole UK music community, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

If you work in music and are struggling to cope, or know someone who is, Music Minds Matter is here for you to listen, support and help at any time; it doesn’t have to be a crisis or about music.

Music Minds Matter Initiatives:

Self Care Sessions

Help Musicians offer free, guided self-care sessions to provide you with techniques and strategies to work through challenging times, equipping you with tools to use on an ongoing basis.

Developing coping strategies to overcome difficult moments will help you keep alive your love for your profession, allowing you to more fully enjoy the amazing parts of working in music and make the most of your career in the long term.

Peer support groups

Listen and be listened to in a safe space of peers from the music industry.

Joining a Peer Support Group will give you the chance to listen and be listened to in a safe space of peers from the music industry; coming together and sharing anything that’s on their mind, any concerns, worries or experiences, facilitated by an accredited counsellor – find out more here
