Introducing: The Development Fund

Offering a grant of up to £3000, the Development Fund has been re-launched to support our artists who are looking to take the next step in their careers by developing their upcoming musical project or campaign through education, training or equipment.

Are you looking to upskill via a training programme or course? Perhaps you want to purchase or upgrade your production equipment or instruments? 

 Then put yourself forward for the Sentric Development Fund to receive up to £3000 towards the progression of your career.  

 To apply for the funding, you must be a Sentric or Sentric Electronic artist. Simply log in to your account, head to the Opportunities page and complete the application form.

 FAQ’s  

How long is the fund open for?
The fund is open between 1st November 2023 at 16:00 GMT to 30th December 2023 at 23:59 GMT.

How can I apply?
By logging in to your Sentric OR Sentric Electronic account and heading to the Opportunities page.  

How many times can I apply?
You can only apply once.

How much can I apply for?
Up to £3000 or the equivalent. It is advised that you only request for the specific amount of money you need to receive.

When will I hear back?
Once the fund has closed on 30th December 2023, you will hear back within 6 weeks if you have been longlisted.

Who can apply for the funding?
Any artist who has signed up through sentricmusic.com or sentricelectonic.com – and the fund is open to all genres of music.

Do I have to have songs added to my account?
Yes, you must have a minimum of 5 songs registered to your account.

If I am successful, how long will it take for money to be released?
It will take up to 2 weeks for the money to be released.

Will there be feedback available?
If you reach the shortlisting stage – feedback will be available.

Can I still apply if I have previously received any funding from Sentric?
Unfortunately, if received funding by Sentric this year or in 2022, you will not be eligible for this funding opportunity.  

Is there a limited selection of equipment/training/programming I can receive through this fund?
No, there is no limit, we require a justification for the selected equipment in your application.

Is the fund only for UK artists?
No, the fund is open worldwide to all Sentric and Sentric Electronic artists.
